Terms of Use

Launch template. Obtain legal review before publication.

This page is a structural placeholder and is not a substitute for terms drafted for the actual company, services, licenses, states, quote relationships, and business model.

Educational information

Website content is provided for general educational purposes and is not veterinary, medical, legal, financial, or insurance advice. Users should consult qualified professionals and read actual insurance contracts.

No coverage guarantee

Descriptions of pet insurance are general. Eligibility, premium, coverage, exclusions, deductibles, reimbursement, waiting periods, and limits are controlled by the insurer and policy.

External links and embedded content

Third-party websites, quote tools, models, and embedded services are governed by their own terms, licenses, and privacy practices. A link or embed does not guarantee availability, accuracy, endorsement, or suitability.

Pet Passport Local

Pet Passport Local is a browser-based organizer. Records are owner-entered or document-attached and are not automatically verified by a veterinarian, insurer, breeder, shelter, laboratory, or other issuer. Local history hashes may help detect accidental changes but are not server signatures, clinical verification, or proof of authenticity.

Users should keep original veterinary documents and independent copies of important information. Browser storage is not guaranteed and may be removed by the user, browser, operating system, cleanup software, storage pressure, device loss, or device failure. Downloaded backups and exports are snapshots that do not update automatically.

Pet Passport Local does not provide account authentication, multi-device synchronization, secure recipient sharing, remote recovery, automatic claim submission, OCR, email or push delivery, automatic calendar synchronization, NFT minting, or public blockchain records. Encrypted backups have no password-recovery service. Counsel must review final service terms, privacy practices, liability language, data retention, and applicable jurisdictions before broader promotion.

Intellectual property

Specify ownership and permitted use of the site design, writing, branding, images, models, software, and data. Confirm commercial rights for every asset before launch.

Limitation and governing terms

Have counsel prepare appropriate disclaimers, limitations, dispute terms, governing law, and state-specific provisions for the actual business.
